ブロウはリップスライムの１２枚目のシングル。２００６年１０月２５日発売。 くるりとのコラボレーションシングル『ラヴぃ』から約3ヶ月ぶりとなる、1ヶ月後に発売されたアルバム『エポック』の先行シングル。また、シングル『黄昏サラウンド』を最後に自律神経失調症の療養のため一時休養していたＤＪ Ｆｕｍｉｙａの復帰作である。 ジャケットはメンバーの写真がそのまま起用されており、実写がジャケットになるのは本作が始めてである。次作『熱帯夜』のジャケットも女性の水着のアップを撮った実写になっている。 累計売上は５万枚を超えるのがやっとという所まで落ち込んだ。リップスライムのメジャーデビュー後のシングルとしては初めて日本レコード協会からゴールド認定を受けなかったシングルでもある。 本作にはカップリングの３曲目が収録されていない。これは、コラボレーションシングルでは前例があるが、メジャーデビュー後のリップスライム名義のシングルとしては唯一である。 このシングルに収録されている２曲の女声コーラスにＦｕｍｉｙａの奥さんが参加している。
